Bathing your pet with warm water is essential for optimal cleanliness. It opens their pores, loosening dirt and allowing shampoo to work more effectively. Cold water, however, can hinder this process, making it difficult to wash away dirt and oils. With our HomePets Shower Warmer, you can effortlessly achieve the perfect warm water, ensuring your pet is comfortable and bath time is both enjoyable and efficient.

In some extreme cases, especially with prolonged exposure to very cold water, there is a risk of hypothermia (low body temperature), which can be dangerous. In dogs, sudden exposure to cold water can also cause a painful condition called Agile Tail, which is caused by muscle damage in the tail and makes it weak, limp, and painful.

Recommendation

It is not recommended to bathe your pet using cold water.

The temperature of a pet's blood is typically maintained at a range of 38 to 39°C for dogs, 37.5 to 38.5°C for horses, and 38°C for cats.

In contrast, tap water temperatures can vary depending on your location and the time of year. In most regions, tap water is delivered at a temperature of around 10 to 15°C, which is significantly lower than your pet's body temperature.

A cold bath can be unpleasant and cause chills, which can be stressful for your pet and make bath time a negative experience.

  • "Fred was abandoned in a shelter. I rescued him to give him a forever home and a family. Fred loves taking warm and relaxing baths with gentle massages, which is why I enjoy giving him his warm water bath. I bought a kit that includes a massager, and he loves it when I use it on him during his bath. Before going to bed, I also give him massages on his dry fur."

  • "Majestic is more than just a horse to me; he is my best friend. After a long training session, I give him a warm bath. It seems to suit him very well. Previously, he used to get cold, but thanks to the HomePets Shower Warmer, we can also enjoy walks during winter. This is how I take care of him without subjecting him to the harsh ice water."

  • "I named my cat Margarita after the flowers that symbolize purity, innocence, a new beginning, and joy, which is what she means to me. I bought a bath brush, and I am as delighted as my cat Margarita. Initially, she was a little skeptical, as she is with everything new, but now she loves it when I massage her while bathing her. The brush is very comfortable and easy to use."
